1. Marigold- Boil marigold about 3 teaspoons in half liter water. Wash your intimate part with this solution 2 times for 3 weeks.
2. Carrots- The active substance in the carrot help in the recovery of cervical cells and also fights fungal infections. Grate a carrot and boil it in 500 ml water for 5 minutes. After turning off the heat, cover it for 10 minutes. Strain and wash your intimate area with this concoction 2 times in a day.
3. Chamomile- Chamomile is an effective remedy for cervicitis. Add dry chamomile in a cup of steaming water and leave it for a few minutes. Wash your intimate area with it. Also, drink chamomile tea two times in a day.
4. Cowslip infusion- Warm cowslip tea is a very effective treatment for vaginal irritation. Boil 4 teaspoons of cowslip flower in a liter of water for 10 minutes. Wash your vagina with it morning and evening for 1-2 month.
5. Horsetail, lady's mantle and St. John's wort- Mix all and boil 4 teaspoons of this mixture in half a liter of water. After 5 minutes, strain the solution and wash your vagina with it for 2 weeks.

To prevent cervicitis make sure to maintain proper hygiene, have safe sex by using condoms, avoid having sex with multiple partners, avoid using tampons, spermicidal condoms if you are allergic to them. Use cotton panties and avoid sex until you are treated.
