Well- maintained body is always admired. There are many reasons that cause the fat to deposit in our body and to get rid of fat we have to have control on these causes. So let us first learn the causes of fat deposition in the body.
What is Body Fat
Like water, bone, muscle and other organs of the body, fat is also there to give structure to the body. Body fat is of two type storage fat and essential fat. Essential fat is needed to carry out normal functions of the body and also gets deposited in CNS, muscles, organs and bone marrow. Storage fat accumulated below the skin. It is needed by the body as a protecting and insulating sheet but when it increases in results in weight gain.
What Causes Body Fat
Reasons that results in increased body fats are as follows:
1.Sedentary life style
Sedentary life style or less activity causes accumulation of body fat because the individual is unable to burn excess amount of calories they are taking from their diet.
This is why is it said not to spend most of your time watching television and other leisurely activities. Technology has no doubt made our life easy but also inactive and sedentary. Give yourself some time to exercise, stretching and walking.
2.Heredity
There may be a family history of obesity because genes that decides the deposition of the body fats. Also, eating habits are inherited. This is why if parents are obese there are chances that the child is obese.
3.Health issues
Many health conditions such as hypothyroidism, Cushing syndrome and PCOS causes obesity.
4.Certain Medications
Individuals on corticosteroids, seizure medicines, antidepressants and birth control pills are found to gain weight.
5.Less sleep
Studies show that people who do not have a sound sleep of 7 to 9 hours daily tend to gain weight.
6.Emotions
It has been found that many people eat more when depressed or suffering from anxiety and as their calorie intake are more than the calories spend they tend to gain weight.
Exercises to Burn Body Fat
1. Lateral Jumps
This exercise targets thighs, core, and glutes. It is a simple exercise and involves all the large muscles groups.
Stand in a squatting position keeping your feet apart. Keep your hands in front of the chest and push back your butts. Take down the squat position. While doing this also swing your arms down. Angle your arms to right slightly. Now raise your body from squat position jumping 2-3 feet in the lateral direction. Now stand straight and then again squat with arms to your left this time. Raise yourself from the squat position but jump to your right this side.
2. Push ups
Push ups helps to reduce the fat all over. Lie on the ground on your stomach keeping both your feets together.
Now place both your palms on the ground at a width of shoulders. by putting weigh on your plans raise yourself from the fllor and then lower your body without letting your stomach touch the floor. Repeat this as for as many times you can.
3.Skipping
Skipping is a simple exercise that helps to lose belly fat and fat around thighs. You just need a skipping rope for this. Hold the skipping rope and jump with it for as much as time you can. To get the desired results jump with both the legs.
Try all the three exercise every day in a row for 40 minutes. It is always recommended to have a pre-work out meal an hour before exercise. Before starting the exercise warm up yourself for 15 minutes. Also eat a balanced diet and drink lots of water. Rather than having 3 big meals it is always recommended to eat small meals Share the results after 3 months. Add more fruits and vegetables to your diet. Minimize the intake of processed food and fast foods.
